Sue is a Registered Nurse, with over 11 years experience caring for premature and sick newborns and assisting their mothers to learn how to breastfeed their infants. She has undertaken a great deal of further study and education to became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) to practice independently and to continue her passion of assisting Mum’s with breastfeeding issues within the privacy of their own homes.
Sue has breastfed all three of her boys, now aged 7, 3 and 2 years. While she experienced varying degrees of breastfeeding difficulties with each of them including; Tongue Tie, Severe reflux, Colic, Failure to Thrive & Infant weight loss, Allergies, Prematurity, Transitioning from Tube Feeding to sole Breastfeeding, Nipple Confusion and Breast Refusal, it was her first baby and the difficulty of locating professional help with breastfeeding that inspired Sue to become a Lactation Consultant. Sue is determined to help other Mother's overcome their breastfeeding issues and assist their infants with sleep settling issues and nutritional challenges.
